To protect and restore nature in Australia, we need new national nature laws. It’s truly shocking, under the current laws, nothing is off-limits to destruction.Old-growth forests are being bulldozed and logged. Oil drilling threatens the pristine waters of the Great Australian Bight. Projects that clear the habitats of critically-endangered wildlife are approved. Vital water catchments are being mined and drained by big businesses with communities powerless to protect their environment. Now is the time to take action. The federal election provides us with an opportunity to ensure strong laws for nature. Doorknocking is a powerful way to have meaningful conversations with your community and put nature at the forefront of the election. When: 2:00 - 5:00pm, Sunday May 5thAll welcome.
